Dear Ms. Skidmore: Are you descended from or related in any way to the Richard Skimore down through Joseph Skidmore? Joseph was the father of Sarah Skidmore, who was my 3great grandmother, on my father's side of the family. My father's mother was Sarah Currence. Her father was Ullrey (I've seen several different spellings of his first name) Currence. Ullrey was my great grandfather, and his Grandfather (John B. Currence) was married to Nancy Friend. Nancy's father, Jonas Friend, was married to Sarah Skidmore. Is there any possible relationship, do you think? I'd be interested to know. Thanks.
