Just a thought. If one thing I've learned about researching....some women had babies right up until menopause... I have one case of a woman marrying at 16 and had her fist baby at 17. She had one every 2 or 3 years until age of 48. The only exception were the years 1863-1866. I check Civil War records. Hubby was in the Army during that period. They didn't waste time. She had a child 11 months after his discharge date. I stopped making assumptions about spouse dates, too. 20, 30 or 40 years apart if not unheard of. Unusual, but not unheard. <G> Also Researching: Appley, Asbury, Barnum, Bauder/Bader, Bowling, Briggs, Burton, Carr, Clark, Dyer, Ecker, Finch, Flannery, Fox, Grim, Hardendorf, Harman, Hawk, Hayes, Henkle/Hinkle, Keith, Marcy, Pier, Sawyer, Summerfield, Schenk, Shepard, Slocum, Strong, Teter, Tinkham, Thompson/Thomson, Walker, Whitlam, Wilks, Wolford, Wood, Woolever. http://www.treelines.com http://www.lineage.net Regards, Diane ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------------- Useful sites: http://rwguide.rootsweb.com/ (Hints for starting) http://communities.msn.com/AGenealogyExperience (A Genealogy Experience)
