I noticed you are researching the name Haddix/Haddox. I am also related to Haddix, through the Gordon line. My aunt Florence Gordon (my father's eldest sister), married Samuel Haddix in Randolph County, VA on 27 May 1919. They were both 19 years old. I am trying to find her Grandparents on her father's side. Her father's name was William H. Gordon, b: July 1881, and her mother was Sarah Currence, b: July 1881. William and Sarah were married in December 1898, also in Randolph county. Can anyone help me with parents of William H. or Sarah M. Currence? Supposedly, he came from Pocahontas county, at least according to the marriage book for Randolph county. Any help with the names of their parents (my Great Grandparents) would be much appreciated.
