Hi, this is interesting to me also since my best friend in grade school was Joan Church, sister to Carolyn. I spent many nights at their home. I lived in East Dailey while growing up. There always circulated an amusing story about Dan Church. He was a lanky, angular man, and they called him "Dr. Dan." The reason was, as the story goes, one day a boy cut his foot.
