I don't have Tingler in my database but I do have quite a few TETER and HINKLE (sometimes spelled Hinckle). I have some CARRs also, but they are jumbled. Randolph county families can be very confusing... Diane
<<Edith Weese was the daughter of Daniel Weese, son of Jacob and Catherine Weese, and Elizabeth Phillips, daughter of John and Catherine Isner Phillips. Daniel was married a second time to Elizabeth McLean.>> I have Daniel Weese birth as 1790 in West Virginia. Not sure which town. His daughter Edith married Jacob W. WOLFORD 5 June 1835 in Randolph County. Found that in Randolph County Marriage book. Doesn't state where in Randolph Co. Jacob's parents, Jacob Wolford and Eve Hawk, were married 1 Jan 1810 in Moorefield, Hardy Co, by John Johnson. Jacob and Eve's children are Jacob W. (see above), Martin and Abraham. Another researcher, years ago, said that Jacob and Eve moved to Ohio, but I have not been able to confirm whether they did or didn't. Diane Wolford [email protected]

Edith Weese was the daughter of Daniel Weese, son of Jacob and Catherine Weese, and Elizabeth Phillips, daughter of John and Catherine Isner Phillips. Daniel was married a second time to Elizabeth McLean. Janet Graham [email protected]
Hi Joe, I am a Weese researcher, I have extracted all Weese birth, death, & marriage records from Randolph from when they first started to keep them up until late 1920's-1930's and some later. Believe you are referring to Henry Harper Weese, whose three marriage records you have already been given. He was the son of Jesse Weese & Mahalia Stalnaker. He died May 20, 1929, Elkins, Randolph Co., WV, age 72, born 1859, WV, married, occupation - lumber piler, buried Baker Cemetery, cause of death - unknown, dead on doctor's arrival, source - John Weese. Death records, book 4, page 187. It is hard to know when he was born. At the time of his first marriage Oct. 15, 1876, his age was given as 21 & the bride's as 18, yet 4 yrs. later in the 1880 census his age is 23 & hers 19. From the various sources the year of his birth ranges from 1855 to 1859, I would say somewhere in the middle. I can send you the Weese line & the Stalnaker line too if you want it. Would appreciate any information you have on Henry's descendants in return. Janet Graham [email protected]
Joe, I have Edith WEESE m. Jacob W. Wolford in 1835. She is the dau of Daniel Weese. Jacob's parents are Jacob Wolford and Eve Hawk. I don't know who Daniel Weese married. Does anyone know that? Diane
