Hi All, I am newcomer to the Raleigh Mailing List. I am researching Elisha Kidd & Family. He married a Margaret and moved from Franklin Co,VA. and settled in Millers Camp Branch at Old Eccles.about 1855. He son Preston was a Union Soldier and George was a Confederate Soldier and enlisted in Raleigh in the year 1861. Elisha born 1804-1890 and Margaret had ten children.Elisha parents where John Kidd & Lucy Milton. If anyone is working on the KIDD family I would be happy to exchange info. Also does anyone no where Millers Camp Branch is located in WV ? And where I can obtain a service record for these two Union & Confederate Soldiers. Thanks So Much, Mischelle
