A few other Raleigh Co. surnames I would be interested in, they are found in my Hood family tree branch, but I am not directly connected to: ALLEN, MASSEY, UNDERWOOD, COMBS, WEBB The Hood family has given me a lot of trouble, I can't seem to find too many of the descendants. I am researching Stephen Hood, I am descended from his first marriage through son, George W. Hood, Sr. (no problem there). The above names are found in connection to his second and third marriages.
