That sounds good to me! Looking for info on the following names: John C. Griffith b 1810, wife Martha Ingram Griffith b 1816, Daughter Julia A. Griffith b 1840, son Elijah J Griffith b 1855, G'son Michael Barton b 1868, G'son Elijah Barton b 1870, G'daughter Minnie Griffith b 1873, G'daughter Florda Griffith b 1874 All lived in "town" during the 1880 census and all adults born in Va all kids born in Wv John was a chair maker by trade. Unconfermed report from elderly relitive says John started Galax va. Unknow if he meant started the town or started his chair making there. John & family moved to Raleigh Co. between 1860 & 1870 from Rock castle in Patrick co Va. Any help would be welcomed! Chris Griffith
