Andrew Ellison b. Jan 1798 in Monroe County, VA (then WV), s/o James and Mary (Calloway) Ellison. They are listed in the 1870 Raleigh County census. James D. (Ellison) is listed with them as age 15. Andrew d. 8 Nov 1875 in Raleigh Co, WV, killed by a falling tree, age 76 years 10 months. His death was reported by James D. Meadows, stepson. Sarah d. 22 Jun 1878 in Raleigh County, WV of liver disease. What became of Mary L./S. and Martha A.? Apparently James David Meador md. 30 Nov 1878 in Raleigh County, Mary Susan Tolley d/o Callahille E. and Paulina M. (Hale) Tolley and had at least four children: James C.
