Married by Felix Ellison. 28 Mar. 1853 - George Cantley and Drusilla Clay, daughter of Charles and Aura Clay. 25 Aug. 1855 - William Burgess, 25, born Logan Co., son of Tandy and Elizabeth, and America Clay, 21, born Logan Co., daughter of Meredith and Nancy. Married by K. Capady. 12 Feb. 1857 - John Patton, 54, born Pennsylvania, son of Peter and Mary, and Lucinda Clay, 18, born in Lawrence Co. KY, daughter of Meredith and Nancy. Married by Claiborne Curtis. All of these are from "Early Raleigh County Marriages" Vol. 1 1850-1870 by Pauline Haga.
