None of my direct ancestors were related to the Williams family. However,some siblings of my direct ancestors did marry members of the Williams family. Here's what I found in my database: Alethia WILLIAMS b. 1859, m. 1883 to Newton TYREE, d. 1922 Lawson WILLIAMS m. to Nancy J. DAVIS (b. 1884). Their children: 1. Clifford WILLIAMS m. Opal __?__ 2. Conotanoc WILLIAMS, m. Georgia MAYNOR 3. Calvin WILLIAMS m. Ruth HURD. Their son, Bobby Lee d.1941 as infant 4. Clarence WILLIAMS m. Eunice __?__. ALSO--My mother's sister, Rosalie HARDY, married James Hansford WILLIAMS, b. Pax 1934. Jim's nickname was Bunk. I know he had a brother who's nickname was Budgie, and a sister named Sheila. There might have been another sister called Serena or Selena. If this sounds familiar to you I can get more information from Jim's widow, Rosalie.
