Hi Guys I sent out a message about the time that we had so much trouble with the viruses. The company shut down our e-mail system and I am not sure if anyone answer it and I just didn't get it because it was bounced or what. I was told then that Lucy was buried in the Williams Cemetery in Beckley, West Virginia. Can someone tell me where that is? Is there a listing for it? Was going to try and get a telephone number for it this weekend unless it just a small place. Might have to call a funeral home if could get a telephone number for it. I have a old telephone book that I picked up in Hinton, two years ago, I think it has Beckley in it. She went by Lucy M. Moten Her marriage Certificate was Lucinda M. Sowder The Sowder Family History has her as Lucinda "Lucy" Marie Sowder. Marriages on the New River, has her as Lucinda Mary Sower. I don't know if she died in Summers or Raleigh County. I have also been told that James did not die before 1890. That he was alive into the 1900's and that he remarried. He was going by James Edward Moten (The story seem to thicken as time goes on.)
