    3. Hello all! If you have been thinking about submitting some of your family's data to the Raleigh County Archives, this would be the time to do it! I am sponsoring a contest and here's how it works. The person who sends the most submissions in to the Raleigh Archives during the month of March will win one book of their choice from the list of Pauline Haga's books - http://millennium.fortunecity.com/rose/505/books.html. Jeannie Watts will be able to give us the total at the end of the month and the winner will be able to choose their book at that time. Not sure what to submit? The Archives will take any of the following: family Bible entries, cemetery records, various court documents, deeds and other land transactions, historical letters, marriage, birth, and death records, military records, slave information, wills, obituaries, family histories and biographies. All submissions need to be typed up as a .txt file or you can cut and paste a submission into the body of an e-mail message. If you have questions about how to do this, please ask Jeannie Watts or myself. You can send your submissions to Jeannie <madamx@trellis.net>, or to me (Melissa) <mduggins@lexcominc.net> and I will forward them to Jeannie. No submission is too small or unimportant. This is a great way to add to your collection of genealogical material as well as helping to build our online resources! Good luck and happy typing to you all! :-) Melissa Bailey Duggins -- "Raleigh County Roots" http://millennium.fortunecity.com/rose/505/index.html Please consider submitting one piece of data to the Raleigh County Archives http://www.rootsweb.com/usgenweb/wv/raleigh.htm
