    3. As a continuation of my questions on earlier Boone county MILLER's, (these were referred to as the West Fork Miller's in other's writings) I have questions relating to my Great Grandmother, Delila MILLER (B. ? 1872???), who married James Franklin DICKENS in 1888, later was divorced from him and married a "Mr. Pritchard" sometime after ?1904, and maybe by the 30's? They lived around Masseyville or Arnett, Raleigh county. While not a relative, by all stories I've heard, this man was called MR. PRITCHARD by everyone, from his step children to all who met him. Does anyone know more about him or them? He apparently died in the 1940's to 50's with my Great Grandmother following in the ?50's to 60's??. Most of what I know about her was that she used her herbs to treat ailments and was known to have some of that homemade "flammable medicine" available when needed. <Smile> While I'm asking so many questions, this Great Grandfather James Franklin DICKENS born in 1863, died about 1942, remarried in 1928, to a woman named Poley (could be Polly) EWING of Saxon, Raleigh County, born in 1911. Stories say that they lived in Alum Creek and had a daughter that my father thinks was named something like Lola and was born somewhere between 1928 and 1936 and there may have been 1 or 2 more children? My father says that he knew her to be in the area when he visited home during the war years and we of the DICKENS family would like to find out about her. Many of the relatives I mentioned are buried in the Cook School House Cemetery or the close by Cook Cemetery, both on Massey Branch Road, off Route 3 from Arnett. :< :< :< :< :< :< :< :< :< :< :< :< :< :< :< :< :< :< :< :< :< :< :< :< :<:< :< :< :< Carol J.
