I'm not sure if this belongs to this county but thought it might help someone out. Please forgive me if sent to the wrong place. Linda Cheeks Pittano Edward Mathews Sr. Hubbard, Ohio Edward K. Mathews Sr., 88, died Friday at O'Brien Memorial Nursing Home in Masury. He was born on Dec. 13, 1910, in Manington, WV and married Irene Allen Mathews on July 8,1933, who preceded him in death on Jan. 19,1993. Mr. Mathews was an operator at LTV Steel for 36 years, retiring in 1973. Survivors include three sons, Edward Jr. and Glen, both of Masury and Richard of Sharon, Pa.; three daughters, Janice Porterfield of Zepherhills, Fla., Gloria Mathews and Linda Sweeney, both of Warren; 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. His parents and a half-sister, Ida Wright, are deceased. Funeral services will be held at 2p.m. Monday at Maddasz Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pineview Cemetery in Warren.
