    3. I hope this is not seen as "advertising" but since someone asked, I'll forward what I know: This information is from the web page of the NATIONAL SCRIP COLLECTORS ASSOCIATION, INC. http://www.miningusa.com/mh-t/nsca/nsca.htm "Over 15,000 varieties of coal scrip tokens, from 32 states, have been compiled in two volumes of EDKINS CATALOGUE OF UNITED STATES COAL COMPANY SCRIP. The new 3rd edition is now available for immediate shipment. In addition, Terry Trantow's book, LUMBER COMPANY STORE TOKENS and David Schenkman has compiled a new book, EXPLOSIVE CONTROL TOKENS,which catalogs over 300 explosive and detonator tokens used in mining, are available. The association publishes the coal scrip catalogs, the explosive control token catalog and will soon have available a revised lumber token catalog. Periodically a package deal of a book and a one year membership is available for new members. Membership and/or books can be obtained by contacting Sheila Medd, 110 Braddock St., Crossville, TN 38555-9113, email: sgmedd@multipro.com. I am not a member of the Association and I have an old copy of the catalogue.
