Hi, my name is Julius (Tim) Emmett Spradling, III. I am the only person alive that has that name - I've checked - LOL. My Raleigh Co. surnames are many :ACORD, CLAY, GORE, THOMPSON, HEDRICK, MCMILLION/MCMILLIAN, etc. The name I (and my first Cousin, Frances Cavendish Dorman at lizard@eagle.ptialska.net, and third Cousin, Nancy Acord-Greathouse at jntgreatho@aol.com ) am stuck on is Sarah MCMILLIAN/MCMILLION b. 1833 most likely in or around Patrick Co., VA. She first showed up in 1848 in the Raleigh Co. part of Fayette Co., VA marrying William Calvin ACORD (b. 1829 & s/o Robert "Cuddy" ACORD & Nancy GORE - a half Cousin of Al Gore our VP). I have a ton of circumstantial evidence on her Parents being Abraham MCMILLION/MCMILLIAN & Elizabeth MORRIS, married in 1832 in Carroll Co., VA (where they went to get married from Patrick Co., VA). Abraham & Elizabeth were in Fayette Co. in the 1840 VA Census living very close to William Calvin ACORD's Parents with a female the age of Sarah.
