It was among the stuff my mother had. There is a cover letter from "The New River Company - Producers of White Oak Smokeless Coal" dated 5 July 1976. The address is Mount Hope, WV. I can find no further address. One additional bit of information from the booklet: "How the New River Company Towns Got Their Names" Whipple - Named for the daughter of an executive of Collins Colliery Co., which opened up a mine at Whipple. Justus Collins called this operation the Whipple Collier Co. He also had an operation at Glen Jean. Whipple is located on White Oak Creek and began production in 1900. I believe Whipple is actually located in Fayette County. Maybe someone can verify that for me. Would you like me to scan thos pictures and send them to you? Nyla
