    3. Valerie, My father, Elmo Jordan JOHNSON, worked in the coal mines before I was born. I just found out the other day the name of the company he may have worked for. Peerless Eagle Coal Company, Peters Creek, WV is the name of the place. I have no idea how to find more information. My grandfather General "Floyd" Jordan JOHNSON also worked in the mines. I'm also unsure of details on this. I know my grandfather developed black lung he died of lung cancer in March ,weighing ahout 85-90 lbs., my father also died in July 1985 at the age of 63, from lung, liver, pancreas cancer and at the end brain cancer. Really I didn't want to get going on the reasons for their deaths, this is what I know of the coal mines though and how it affects your life, whether you die in a cave in or later on in years from a long and painful death. If anyone has any suggestions please email. Thanks, Donna JOHNSON Faucheaux -----Original Message----- From: Valerie F.
