I found a birth record for Ellen Stover in Fayette County, and it says "March 2 1887 Ellen Stover born Mt Carbon parents are A.H. Stover and Caroline Stover." My uncle said his father had a sister they called Ellie, but her parents should have been Ashford Hall Stover and Sabie Stover. So, I don't know if this was my grandfather's sister or not.
