Hi Janet, The Clay connection we were discussing is that America Ellen Burgess Collins, wife of Charles Adam Collins, was a d/o Russell Nelson Burgess and his fourth wife, (according to my records) Caroline Hodge. Russell Nelson Burgess was a s/o William T. and America Clay Burgess. "I" don't yet recognize the name Ines/Inez Clay Palmer - perhaps someone on the list will.
