Just to name a few James Wriston,& Joseph Workman GL: Wriston, James 7th WV Cavalry, Company H, enlisted 1 September 1861, Raleigh County, VA. 6' 0" tall, fair complexion, blue eyes, dark hair. Born about 1840 in Raleigh County, s/o Zachariah & Naomi. Died 1 September 1906. Wounded in both hands 20 June 1864 near Salem, VA. Married Rebecca Wriston, d/o John & Nancy Wriston on 9 October 1863 in Matville, WV. Lived Clear Creek, Raleigh County. Daughter Almira born 4 March 1871.
