Would your mother happen to know Tom Peters' parents? Sincerely, Mike Peters [email protected]
Hi there Mike: I figured when I sent my response, I might here from you. I called my mom last night to confirm his name was Tommy. She did not know his parent's names. Sorry I could not be of more help. There has been a lot of activity on the Raleigh County web site lately. By the way, do you know of any good books on this Stewart line? I found a book at the genealogy center in Charleston that was done by McClain Printing a very long time ago. I recently contacted them to find out if it was available, but it was not. The name of the book is "The James Stewart Family" 1740-1960 by Florence S Dickerson. It had information regarding Capt Ralph Stewart. I was having difficulty replying to many of the good e-mails on the site. I am not sure what the problem was, but now that it is fixed, you will hear more from me. Take care and God bless!
