I have 16 James Wristons in my data base. But there are only 2 from Coal River area. James Wriston, born March 1840, born in Fayette County, Virginia, buried at White Oak Cemetery at Artie, WV. He is the son of Robert "Robin" Wriston (Riston) 1806-1867 and Keziah Scarbrough 1819-?. He married Rebecca Moles, the daughter of Issac Moles (1806-1873) and Mary "Polly" Wriston (1808-?). They were married on July 3, 1861, Raleigh County. They had only one child (Almira A Wriston). James Wriston, born 1840. He was the son of Zachariah "Bill" Wriston (1815-1880) and Amanda Naomi "Oma" Stover (1815-1877). I believe that Oma was a sister to my great great grandfather, Moses Stover. I don't know who James was married too.
