Thanks to everyone who responded to my query re: an obit lookup. It was Willa PETERS who died 12 January 2004 at the Boone County Memorial Hospital in Madison. Willa was a member of the Mount Olivet Baptist Church in Kanawha City. Her husband Ernest R. Peters preceded her in death. Willa is survived by children Lola French, Geraldine Wright & Doris Jean Brittian. Another daughter, Patty Lou Hamilton also preceded her in death. Willa & Ernest Peters sounds so familiar to me.
