I've enjoyed reading the messages from the list. I was born in Beckley in 1950. (at the old Raleigh General Hospital). This is my question: My mother, Hazel ERWIN married my dad, Harlan E. MOHR at Harper on May 13, 1949. I have not been able to find a record of their marriage - although my mom's youngest sister and her husband (Dallas HINKLE and Sybil ERWIN) were witnesses. Nina, This has nothing to do with your inquiry but your name and the fact that you live in Texas caught my attention. I too was born at Raliegh General in 1952 and I too live in Texas now. What caught my attention was your name. You wouldn't happen to live in Wichita Falls would you. A church near where my husband works has a pastor whose last name is also Christmas.
