Raleigh Register, Beckley, W.Va. Monday Afternoon, February 24, 1947 Illness Fatal To Mt. Tabor Woman Funeral arrangements are incomplete for Mrs. Dora Snuffer Stanley, 61, of Mt. Tabor, who died at a local hospital Saturday night after a short illness. She was born at Crab Orchard, a daughter of the late Sparrel and Susan Snuffer. A member of the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, she had been a resident of the Mt. Tabor community since her marriage. Surviving her, are the following: husband, Dell Stanley, four daughters, Mrs. Reda Christian, at home; Mrs. Carl Mann, Mabscott; Mrs. Sam Mann, and Mrs. Warren Patton, both of Harper Road; four sons, Robert and Charles Stanley, both of Eccles; Boyd Stanley, Harper Road; John Stanley, U. S. Navy, stationed at Guam; five sisters, Mrs. Snyder Phipps and Mrs. Lettie Evans, both of Harper Road; Mrs. Mary Scott, Beckley; and Mrs. Dellie Campbell and Mrs. W. T. Riffe, of Crab Orchard; two brothers, Ira Snuffer of Coal City, and Everette Snuffer, of Crab Orchard. The body will remain the Calfee Funeral Home pending completed funeral arrangements.
