She was born July 22, 1911, at Rush, Ky., a daughter of the late Peter Joseph and Bertie Powers Burdiss. She was also preceded in death by:her husband, Marvin A. "Trap" Stewart; a sister, Edna Ruth McNeely; three brothers, Pete, Frank and Lawrence Burdiss; two half brothers, Bill and Chester Smith. She was a member of Stickney Community Church. She is survived by: seven daughters, Edith Peters and Helen Allen, both of Cleveland, Ohio, Sandra Arehart of Leland, N.C., Charlotte McCleese of Mount Orab, Ohio, Jean Johnston and Diana Lawrence, both of Hamersville, Ohio, Phyllis Hall of Whitesville; three sons, Bob of Hamersville, Ohio, Donald of Milford, Ohio, Gary of Loveland, Ohio; 35 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
