Friday, March 12, 1915 Sad Death at Surveyor Death visited the home of Booker Clay, a prosperous citizen of Surveyor, Saturday and claimed as its victim the wife and mother, Mrs. Lorinda* Clay, aged 74 years, 8 months and three days. She leaves a husband, four sons, two daughters, two sisters; Mrs. Isabel Daniels, of Fayette county, and Mrs. Lethia Godby, of Beckley; and one brother; W. D. McMillion, of Beckley. Interment was made in the home burying ground at Surveyor, witnessed by a large number of sorrowing relatives and friends.
