Our Stover DNA group at: http://worldfamilies.net/surnames/s/stover/index.html is now up to 4 members, and we sure need more. :) One Stover line we have was in Ohio, and the other three members are descendants from Jacob Stover and Sallie McGhee, who md in Franklin Co, VA and moved to Raleigh County, West Virginia.. What we have is 4 completely different Stover lines, because none of us have yet made a match with each other. Check out the results page, and then the Patriarch page on the site that shows the male pedigree charts that are associated with each result. Each of the results line has a different colored background because they are 4 seperate groups. This DNA group is open to all Stovers. The more who participate, the more chance we all have of sorting out all these confusing Stovers.
Gracie, Good luck, on the DNA. I belong to the Kincaid DNA and we have had real good results, keep sending the messages. sarah ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gracie Stover" <ggracie@cox.net> To: <WVRALEIG-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, August 28, 2005 12:24 AM Subject: [WVRALEIG] New Stover DNA results > Our Stover DNA group at: > http://worldfamilies.net/surnames/s/stover/index.html > is now up to 4 members, and we sure need more. :) > One Stover line we have was in Ohio, and the other three members are > descendants from Jacob Stover and Sallie McGhee, who md in Franklin Co, VA > and moved to Raleigh County, West Virginia.. > What we have is 4 completely different Stover lines, because none of us > have yet made a match with each other.
