    3. In my Hawley research, I have Thomas Lewis Hawley s/o James William and Henrietta A. Jenkins Hawley who married Marinda Miram Barton on 29 Oct, 1891 in Raleigh County. Marriage Index: West Virginia, 1863-1900 Hawley, Thomas Lewis Spouse : Barton, Marinda Minam Marriage Date : Oct 29, 1891 County : Raleigh Gender : Male Source : County Court Records Microfilm Number : 6117046-6117048 According to my records, their children were Roy Walter Hawley, Nettie Hawley, Pansy Ethel Hawley, Lakie Hawley and William Preston Hawley. They also appear to have lost an infant son in 1897. Raleigh County Death Records - Year of 1897 - Line 49 Hawley male, 1 months, died Aug. 15, son of T.L. and M. M. Hawley. Son Roy Walter Hawley was born 8 Oct 1892 at Lester, Raleigh County and died 23 May 1966 at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital, Beckley, Raleigh County, West Virginia of natural causes. His death record confirms his parents. I have a copy, should anyone want a copy e-mailed. Roy Walter Hawley was married to Nora Ellen Brown d/o John Alexander and Lou Emma Aliff Brown.
