The Charleston Daily Mail Charleston, West Virginia October 10, 1932 Funeral services for William Hansford Jarrell, 82 years old, a prominent farmer of Clear Fork, father of Dr. K. M. Jarrell, chairman of the Democratic county executive committee, and Dr. H. B. Jarrell, both Beckley physicians, were held at the First Presbyterian church Sunday afternoon. Mr. Jarrell died in a Beckley hospital Saturday afternoon. The aged man was a member of one of the most prominent families of Raleigh county. He was a son of Anderson and Jane Carrow Jarrell, and spent his more than four score years in Raleigh county. Besides his two sons living in Beckley, he leaves one daughter, Mrs. Bessie Easton, of Romney; two sisters, Mrs. B. F. Jarrell, of Dorothy, and Mrs. Preston Stover, of Docota, W. Va.
