    1. [WVRALEIG] Pictures from the 30's of students in Kistler

    3. I am sending to the other listsrev's that I read, a message that I originally sent to the Logan County group. I am just copying it in whole and resending, as it came to me that the folks raised in Logan County may have kin who are interested in other counties info and I may get this to just the person who'd be waiting to see them. The surnames involved include..... WHITE, HUFF, ALTIZER, BURGESS, HALL, CHAFFIN, LEIFFER, MIRASHI, GILMORE, THOMPSON, RILEY,WILLIAMS, GEAR, ROBINSON, REYNOLDS, BROWNING,BROOKS, BELCHER and CRAWFORD and a few unnamed. These were probably kids and teachers in 1932 or later. <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> I subbed to your list for the purpose of making available some pictures that belonged to my mother in law. She had about 30 little tiny student pictures of classmates of hers, from when she lived in Mallory and went to Man and Kistler schools. They are apparently from the end of the 30's. The school pictures are barely an inch in size and some have names or writing on the back, others, don't. They can be found at ... http://albums.photo.epson.com/j/AlbumIndex?u=4046659&a=30793417&f=0&vt=mp Please be sure that all characters in this URL appear when you copy and paste it, or that every last character, ending with the =mp is in blue as a good link. Sometimes in either case it breaks the URL where it goes to the next line, so make sure that isn't a problem. I also have 2 of her yearbooks from Man, the Hillbilly, 1942 and 1943. As I get to it, I will scan those images and make them available somewhere. If someone in charge here has a better idea or place for folks to get these pictures, free and easily, I'm listening. PLEASE, no lookups, because I will feel like that chicken when my grandmother chopped off its head. I wish others would share their pictures as someone did for me. I pass the favor on to you, and then you on to someone else. Before I forget, my MIL was the former Margie Marie WHITE and I have her other old pictures from the times, especially of her WHITE and ELSWICK kin. I'll keep working at getting these scanned and into folks hands as I can and may I continue to let you know after each group is done, telling you right here of my progress. I try to live by the rule of Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness as others have done for me.
