Transcribed by Rita O'Brien The Charleston Daily Mail Charleston, West Virginia October 18, 1931 Funeral services for C. R. McAdoo, 67 years old, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Sylvester Patton, at Metalton, Thursday afternoon, were held at the residence Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. Mr. McAdoo had been ill three months. Beside his daughter, Mrs. Patton, he is survived by two sons, Mr. Oliver McAdoo of Glen Rogers, and Erwin McAdoo, of Helen. Six grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.
