Transcribed by Rita O'Brien Charleston Daily Mail Charleston, West Virginia January 2, 1934 Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon by Rev. Grant Stephens, for Sallie Acord, 12-year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.H.T. Acord, who died at the home of her parents Sunday morning of a heart ailment following an illness of five days. Beside the parents five brothers and two sisters survive. Note: My records show Sallie to be the daughter of William H. "Tally" Acord and his second wife, Rosa Alice "Rosie" Tabor Hunter Acord.
