Hi, His name was Boston Mattox born June 30, 1849 date of death June 28, 1928 in Slabfork, Raleigh county, WV. He died in a school (I don't know the name) that was for whites-possibly a private school. Boston Mattox was black and caretaker for the grounds. Ms Pauline Haga who I believe is a Historian for Raleigh county told me that she read it in a newspaper that was on microfilm-don't remember the name of the paper and the microfilm reader was broken when I talked to her. Nor do I have contact information for Ms Haga. Thanks so much for the help-again I am willing to compensate.
