Jana: I see we are in agreement about FTM 2006. After the first couple days' using the new version, I couldn't remember what the previous version was like. Since it is so widely used, most everyone who shares files with me use FTM 2006, and there is no conversion needed from FTM to GEDCOM and then back to FTM. We just share a FTM file. Nyla I am a user of FTM 2006 and I love it. There are different views you can use to see information. Perhaps what Clarence used in the past was the old FTM? I originally bought mine when version 6 came out, I think it was. I upgrade each time as well and I love the way it is laid out and it is extremely user friendly :) Just my $ .02 worth =) Jana Hertz
