    2. Bonnie: If you could share the person's name, that might us help determine where she was buried since it seems to me that people were usually buried close to where they lived. We might be able to locate her in one of the census if we knew her first, maiden, and married name. Finding where she lived in 1930 might lead you to the area where she was buried . Her certificate has certification numbers for the undertaker and address that is how people in Beckley said it was the Calfee Funeral HOme. -----Original Message----- From: Mark <yougottabekid@yahoo.com> Sent: Nov 15, 2005 2:17 PM To: WVRALEIG-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [WVRALEIG] Shady Spring Cemetery Bonnie- Is your copy of your cert complete? If so, there should be in the lower left hand corner some indication of the Funeral home OR where they were buried. There was a Shady Springs cemetery. I thought I recalled one near Flat Top. Depending on where the deceased lived, this can be significant. Hope this helps Mark Combs --- Bonnie <bekaycee@earthlink.net> wrote: > I know that noone has ever heard of a cemetery named > that but I must try. > > I have a death certificate for a lady that died in > 1943, in Beckley in Raleigh Co. > > I have someone who believes the funeral home is > Calfee's, and I have contacted them.
