Bonds Woodrow Wilson Bonds, 78, of Harper Heights, died Friday, Dec. 3, 1999, in a Beckley hospital following a long illness. Born July 18, 1921, at Mammoth, he was the son of the late Thomas and Susan Ida Frye Bonds. Mr. Bonds had been a resident of Harper Heights for the past 13 years, coming from Eccles. He was a retired coal miner, cut timber for a living and had worked at the Raleigh County Sheltered Workshop. Mr. Bonds was of the Christian faith and was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Icie Mae McMillion Bonds, on May 6, 1995; a son, Henry Wilson "Ricky" Bonds; a daughter, Kathy Cook; and a stepson, George Phillip McGraw.
