    1. John B. Butler of Thurmond\'s Rangers Data
    2. commander
    3. Hello George! Here is what I've found on John Butler Hedrick. He enlisted in 1864 with Thurmond's Partisan Rangers in Monroe County. He was paroled on April 26th 1864 at Lewisburg. He was 19 at this time and had brown hair, dark eyes, and a dark com- plexion. He was 5' 8 inches tall. He was listed as a resident of Monroe County prewar. He is also listed on the 1914 Summers County roster according to the authors research for this book. He was a resident of TRalcott, Summers County in 1908. It looks as if his service record was brief. A review of their service oould retrieve all the activities of this unit in this book: Thurmond's Partisan Rangers & Swann's Battalion of Vir- ginia Cavalry AUTHOR: Jeffrey C. Weaver. George I've found nothing for Michael Quinn in this book. Glenn Belcher in Princeton WV Sorry if you get this twice. Would any kind soul have a list of the men who were in Thurmond's Rangers.
