His son Jeremiah Williams settled in Fayette Co (now Raleigh Co). Jeremiah's son Christopher is my ancestor. On June 6, 1962 he was united in marriage to Delores Allen Canaday who survives. Also surviving are one daughter and son in law Tim and Pam Hattle of Beaver, O., three grandchildren, Jared, Timothy, and Courtney Hattle, five sisters, Dorthey Collins of Delaware, O., Eula Coulter of Crab Orchard, W.Va., Zora (Leonard) Tackett of Franklin Furnace, O., Dora (Jim) Frick of Hemphill, Texas, and Louise Scott of Waverly, O., two step brothers, George (Marilyn) Collins of Beaver, O., and Dave (Florence) Collins of Sophia, W.Va., and one step sister, Rozina Farmer of Midway, W.Va.. I don't believe its use is enough to say that the name is common in Raleigh County. It is not a name that I see often anywhere.
