    3. Rita: Thank you for sharing the obituary. I notice some of the family members live at Mount Hope. I just want to mention that many times residents of Prosperity are listed as living in Mount Hope. One reason is that Prosperity has three mailing addresses, I believe. One is Prosprity, which is the post office. One is a rural delivery out of Beckley. And the other is a rural delivery out of Mount Hope. Just another thing to consider.     1. I'm researching Milam's in Raleigh & Wyoming Counties

    3. My dad's mother, Bettie Milam is daughter of Mary Elizabeth Milam Webb, Daughter of George M Milam, son of James M. Milam. My dad's father was George F. Milam, son of Addison Milam, Son of James M. Milam. I know George was married 3 times, but I only know about my grandmother Bettie. I think he married Cynthia Perdue (timing & children's names are my clue) but I haven't been able to verify that. I'm having trouble finding info on Addison Milam, who is the brother to George M above, although I've found him in the census records for Wyoming County. Thanks for any help I can get. Genness in GA

He was married to Nancy Tyree, born 3 March 1883, died 16 Sep 1954. Nancy was my Great Grandmother's sister. Henry and Nancy are buried in a small family plot in Maple Fork along with my Great Grandmother, Della Bertie Tyree, and her parents, Louden Tyree (1857 - 1925) and Mary Delona Bowyer (1862-1905).     3. Marguerite, I have his parents as George Washington Treadway b. 23 May 1847 d. 01 Jul 1931 and Letha Stover b. 10 Jul 1852 d. 12 Jan 1920. George and Letha married 02 Apr 1868 in Raleigh County, WV. George Washington Treadway was the son of John Allen Treadway 1824-1900 and Rebecca Jane Darlington (1827-1851). After Rebecca's death George also married Mary Ann Bayes (1824-1880). Letha Stover was the daughter of John and Eliza Williams Stover. Letha's sister, Mary Jane was my ggreat grandmother.
