Hello Everyone: For anyone that is not familiar with the "Raleigh County, West Virginia" book by Jim Wood, I have only positive comments to make about it. It is the only complete history of Raleigh County that I know about. Jim Wood was employed by the Beckley newspapers for 35 years, serving as managing editor of the Beckley Post-Herald and as the last editor of The Raleigh Register.
