Bell Shumate is the d/o Amos Shumate and Nancy, and was listed as 10 years old in the 1880 Wyoming County, Slab Fork District, census. They were living in HH # 28. I am not 100% sure, but there is a cemetery located off South Fayette Street in East Beckley which is called the Wright/Hunter Cemetery. There are not many cemeteries located in the Beckley city limits, per se. I am going to the library here in a few minutes. I will see if I can find more information for you.
