Scott was born 7 Apr 1886 and died 28 Jun 1891. He was called "Hallie" and he is buried in Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery in Smithfield, Fayette, PA. His Mother was Mary Alena Nixon who was first married to James Sidney Patterson. Mary Alena's next son, Ralph E. Scott was born 28 Jun 1888 and also died in Jun 1891, on the first. Five years later, an older son, Carl Herman Patterson b. 1876, drowned on 21 Jul 1896. The next day Mary Alena suffered a paralyzing stroke and died 26 Jul 1896 in her home in Fairchance.
