Levy(?) Speelman's parents built it in the late 1800's and their name was Christopher. Anyway, four of the Christophers' kids died of diphtheria at a very young age while they were building the house. As the story goes the youngest one was the first to go but before she died she wanted to see what her room would look like. So her father (a Christopher) carried her from the house they were living in down the hill to the unfinished farm house. He carried her up the stairs so she could see her room and then he showed her the rest of the house. And then later that night she died. As long as my family lived there they believed it was haunted by the ghost of that girl and we would like to find out what her name was, the family, or better yet a picture.
