They had never heard of Cheat Hill, but said Cheat Mountain is on Route 50, Which would be in the bottom part of the county. Pleasants District is in the north, so maybe they aren't the same thing. I have a map that shows the different districts in Preston County, but I don't know how I'd show it to you. I got it from the 1870 census I found at the library. It may help.
