Thanks so much for sharing. Do you have any additional information on the HANNA family? Were they also of Preston County, WV? A member of my husband's family has been untraceable for the past 15 years of research. She shows up as head of household with two children in the 1820 PA Census for Georges twp., Fayette Co., PA -- which is just across the border from Preston Co., WV. Her name is PHOEBE DERRY (or HANNA). Although unconfirmed, I have always assumed that her maiden name was DERRY and that she married a man with the last name of HANNA. The opposite may be true, her maiden name might have been HANNA and she married a DERRY. Either way, she is a lady of mystery. Any insights into the HANNA family would be very much appreciated!
