    3. Cheat Mountain - as it exists today - is nowhere near Monongalia County or Morgantown. The easiest way to hit Cheat Mountain is via Route 50 between Grafton (WV) and Keyser (WV). There are a number of mountains (5 of them - to be exact) that made that stretch of Route 50 one of the worst driving roads in the East (before interstates).
