Roberts,[who bought 200 acres just outside Kingwood,Preston Co,VA.] and the John Roberts [from Washington Co.,PA],who bought 1.5 acre lots in Kingwood are one and the same because of Samuel T. Wiley's book,"HISTORY OF PRESTON CO.,WV".So I'm wondering where he went after the town of Kingwood bought out his store.He doesn't seem to be in any census's even thou he was ther from 1805-1818,unless he was the J.S.Robers in the 1810 census and they just misspelled his name.HELP!Is he my GGG grandfather John Roberts who came to Knox Co.,OH just before 1820?
